The way that the 16/8 works are you stop eating at 8 p.m. Then you don’t eat till 12 pm or noon the next day. Then you eat several meals in this 8-hour window.
What happens when you eat is store food as glycogen in the liver. As you fast and your glycogen will be low, and your body will release fat to help your energy levels. During this time you may get “Hangry” but know that your burning fat so is happy.
